Ruth T. Smith, EA
Ruth T. Smith, an Enrolled Agent (EA), began her tax career in 1972 working for a local CPA firm. In 1982, she struck out on her own and established Mobile Accountant. Purchasing a motorhome to serve as her mobile office, Ruth would travel to her clients’ places of business to work on their books and prepare their tax returns.
Ruth regularly provides tax services to many high and very high net worth individuals, professional services firms and small businesses. Many of these clients are very loyal, having sought Ruth’s advice and expertise for decades. Her specialties include estate and fiduciary taxation and real estate limited partnerships/LLCs.
In 1957, Ruth married Flint H. Smith, an electrical engineer. Flint retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1990 after 30 years of service. They both love traveling to distant places around the world, sailing, motorhome travel and family.
